About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HSE engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and company policies.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for complex projects.
- Oversee incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior HSE staff and cross‑functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate HSE requirements into project plans and schedules.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in HSE engineering within the oil & gas or related sector.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards (OSHA, API, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Proven ability to conduct incident investigations and develop effective corrective actions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Proficiency in HSE management systems and data analysis tools.
