Senior developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integrations between Workday, Greenhouse, payroll, benefits and finance systems, using REST APIs and SQL to automate data flow and improve HR data accuracy.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain bi‑directional integrations between Workday, Greenhouse, payroll, benefits and finance platforms.
- Implement RESTful API calls, data transformations, and ETL processes to ensure accurate, real‑time data exchange.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to define integration requirements and map data fields.
- Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot errors, and create automated remediation scripts.
- Document integration architecture, data flow diagrams, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building integrations for HRIS ecosystems, preferably with Workday and Greenhouse.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling for relational databases.
- Hands‑on experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, and middleware or integration platforms.
- Solid understanding of payroll, benefits, and compensation data structures.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in an Agile team environment.
