Software Engineer
Lead the design and delivery of robust healthcare applications using Java and Spring Boot, building scalable REST APIs, managing data with SQL, and deploying on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes in an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain high‑performance healthcare software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and expose secure, scalable RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption.
- Implement data persistence with relational databases (SQL) and ensure data integrity and performance.
- Containerize applications with Docker, orchestrate with Kubernetes, and deploy to AWS environments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Agile ceremonies, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST API design, and relational database modeling.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, EKS) and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset.
