Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced data solutions for healthcare analytics, leveraging SQL, Python, and robust data modeling to drive operational efficiency and improve patient outcomes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries and data pipelines to extract, transform, and load healthcare data from multiple sources.
- Build and optimize Python scripts for data cleansing, enrichment, and advanced analytics.
- Collaborate with clinical and business stakeholders to translate managed‑care requirements into actionable data models and dashboards.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH).
- Provide insights through ad‑hoc analysis, trend reporting, and predictive modeling to support decision‑making.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, with strong knowledge of relational database design.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
- Deep understanding of managed‑care concepts and healthcare operations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical findings to non‑technical audiences.
