About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and analytical models to support health insurance operations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into measurable data metrics and dashboards.
- Utilize Python, SQL, and R to extract, clean, and analyze large healthcare datasets, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Create interactive visualizations and reports in Tableau, delivering insights that inform pricing, risk assessment, and member experience initiatives.
- Deploy and manage analytical solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in data governance and documentation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, Tableau, and AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker).
- Strong understanding of health insurance concepts, claims processing, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with data governance, quality assurance, and documentation standards.
