Embedded Systems Engineer
Lead the design, development, and validation of medical-grade hardware and firmware, driving innovation in sleep‑disordered breathing therapy solutions using embedded C, ARM Cortex, and RTOS platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust hardware and firmware for medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in design reviews, prototyping, and validation of PCB and embedded systems.
- Implement and maintain RTOS‑based firmware, optimizing performance and reliability.
- Drive hardware debugging, root cause analysis, and iterative improvement of product designs.
- Collaborate with software, QA, and regulatory teams to meet product milestones and certification requirements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in embedded hardware and firmware engineering for medical or high‑reliability products.
- Proficiency in Embedded C, ARM Cortex microcontrollers, and RTOS development.
- Strong background in PCB design, signal integrity, and hardware debugging tools.
- Experience with regulatory processes (FDA, CE) and quality systems (ISO 13485).
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to mentor junior engineers.
