Senior engineer responsible for designing, executing, and documenting hardware test strategies to ensure product performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance across multiple technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and maintain detailed test procedures for new hardware products.
- Execute functional, performance, and reliability tests, capturing and analyzing results to identify root causes.
- Implement and improve test automation frameworks to increase efficiency and repeatability.
- Ensure all testing meets relevant compliance and safety standards (e.g., UL, IEC).
- Collaborate with design, firmware, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues and drive product improvements.
- Generate comprehensive test reports and provide data‑driven recommendations for product enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in hardware test engineering, including test plan creation and execution.
- Proficiency with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW).
- Strong knowledge of industry compliance standards and ability to interpret test specifications.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
