Embedded Systems Engineer
Lead the end‑to‑end design and development of propulsion controller hardware for next‑generation vehicles, applying expertise in power electronics, analog circuit design, and embedded systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define architecture and specifications for propulsion controller hardware, ensuring compliance with safety and performance targets.
- Design, simulate, and validate analog and power electronic circuits, including motor drives and DC‑DC converters.
- Create detailed PCB layouts, perform signal integrity and thermal analysis, and oversee prototype fabrication.
- Develop embedded firmware interfaces in C/C++ and collaborate with software teams for integration and testing.
- Lead cross‑functional reviews, manage design documentation, and support verification and validation activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field with 7+ years of hardware design experience.
- Proven expertise in power electronics, analog circuit design, and high‑speed PCB layout.
- Strong proficiency with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE) and PCB CAD software.
- Hands‑on experience developing embedded firmware (C/C++) for real‑time control applications.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced automotive environment.
