About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead analysis, design, and development of Guidewire modules to maintain and improve production stability.
- Implement and optimize Java and SQL code, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Develop and expose RESTful services for internal and external integration.
- Mentor junior developers, providing code reviews and technical guidance.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and backlog refinement.
- Collaborate with QA and operations teams to deliver robust CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Guidewire development and support.
- Strong proficiency in Java, SQL, and REST API design.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git) and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
- Experience mentoring junior staff and driving technical best practices.
