Senior Geotechnical Engineer leading complex foundation and seismic projects using advanced modeling tools such as PLAXIS and AutoCAD, driving design, analysis, and project execution for infrastructure and facility developments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead geotechnical investigations, including site characterization, borehole data interpretation, and laboratory testing.
- Develop and review foundation and retaining wall designs, ensuring compliance with local codes and industry standards.
- Perform advanced numerical analyses using PLAXIS, GeoStudio, and other simulation software to assess stability and settlement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical solutions into overall project design and construction plans.
- Prepare technical reports, design calculations, and construction documentation for client and regulatory review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in geotechnical design and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PLAXIS, GeoStudio, and GIS applications.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
