AI Engineer
Lead the design and delivery of generative AI solutions for automotive, rail and smart industry clients, leveraging LLMs, prompt engineering and cloud-native technologies to create scalable, high‑performance AI services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end generative AI solutions for diverse industry clients, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Design and optimize large language model pipelines, including data ingestion, prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, and inference deployment.
- Lead cloud‑native deployments on AWS or GCP, utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for scalable, secure AI services.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (software, hardware, data science) to integrate AI capabilities into product roadmaps.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in AI model governance and ethical use.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on AI/ML and cloud technologies.
- Deep expertise in large language models, prompt engineering, and generative AI frameworks.
- Proven track record of deploying AI solutions at scale using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and a passion for driving innovation in mobility and smart industry domains.
