Key Responsibilities
- Define and iterate on core gameplay mechanics for college football modes, ensuring authentic and engaging player experiences.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including art, engineering, and production—to translate design concepts into functional prototypes and final features.
- Balance game systems, conduct playtesting, and use analytics to refine difficulty, pacing, and overall fun factor.
- Develop detailed design documentation, flowcharts, and user stories that guide implementation and maintain design intent.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the studio’s design processes, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional game design experience, preferably on sports or competitive titles.
- Strong understanding of gameplay loops, player progression, and balancing techniques.
- Proficiency with prototyping tools (e.g., Unity, Unreal, or custom engines) and ability to communicate ideas visually.
- Experience analyzing player data to inform design decisions and iterate quickly.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills within multidisciplinary teams.
