About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end web applications on Ruby on Rails and React, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL to support large‑scale data workloads.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker and AWS services.
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices for code quality and security.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience building full‑stack applications with Ruby on Rails and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React).
- Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and containerization tools such as Docker.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Proven ability to work in an agile environment, communicate effectively, and solve complex technical challenges.
