About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain core modules of a modular SaaS platform for arts organizations, including class registration, membership, ticketing, and fundraising.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party payment processors, ensuring secure, high‑performance data flows.
- Collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable code.
- Optimize database schemas and queries for performance and reliability across PostgreSQL/MySQL environments.
- Deploy and manage services on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda) using CI/CD pipelines and Docker containers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full‑stack development experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and React.
- Strong background in relational database design and SQL optimization.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
