About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of flight‑critical electronics, avionics, and power distribution systems for reusable, fuel‑less space platforms.
- Collaborate with systems, software, and propulsion teams to define architecture, interfaces, and performance requirements.
- Conduct rigorous hardware verification, including functional testing, thermal analysis, and radiation qualification.
- Drive continuous improvement of design processes, tooling, and documentation to meet aggressive launch schedules.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across cross‑functional projects.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in aerospace or defense electronics, with a strong background in flight electronics and avionics.
- Proficiency in PCB design, signal integrity, power electronics, and RF system integration.
- Hands‑on experience with embedded C/C++ and real‑time operating systems.
- Knowledge of space qualification standards (MIL‑STD‑1553, ARINC, or equivalent) and radiation effects on electronics.
- Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑ownership environment.
