Senior analyst to lead the implementation of Oracle finance software, supporting county‑wide payroll functions, data integration, and financial reporting while managing project tasks and stakeholder coordination.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and testing of the Oracle finance system for county‑wide payroll processing.
- Analyze existing payroll and financial workflows, identify gaps, and develop migration strategies.
- Develop and execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using SQL and related tools.
- Collaborate with finance, HR, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training for end‑users during and after implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field; 5+ years of experience in financial systems analysis.
- Strong expertise with Oracle financial applications and payroll system implementations.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, reporting, and validation.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
