Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee secure firmware development lifecycles for embedded devices, ensuring compliance with industry security standards.
- Design and implement secure boot, firmware integrity verification, and OTA update mechanisms.
- Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and reverse engineering of firmware to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate cryptographic modules and secure key storage solutions.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, guidelines, and best‑practice frameworks for firmware teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in embedded firmware security and secure software development.
- Deep expertise in C/C++, ARM architecture, and secure boot technologies.
- Proven track record in cryptographic protocol implementation and hardware security module integration.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in reverse engineering and vulnerability research.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor cross‑functional teams.
