Software Engineer
Senior developer responsible for building and modernizing enterprise financial accounting and forecasting systems, improving engine performance, and supporting critical reporting processes using C#, .NET, SQL, and Azure.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and modernize core financial accounting and forecasting applications.
- Optimize forecasting engine performance, scalability, and accuracy for enterprise‑wide use.
- Implement and maintain data pipelines and storage solutions supporting quarterly and annual financial reporting.
- Collaborate with finance analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure high availability, security, and compliance of financial systems in a cloud environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, primarily with C# and the .NET framework.
- Strong SQL skills and experience designing relational databases for financial data.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services (App Service, SQL Database, Functions, DevOps).
- Demonstrated ability to build or enhance forecasting engines and financial modeling tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with finance teams.
