Data Analyst
Senior Finance Data Analyst responsible for designing, building, and maintaining advanced Alteryx workflows and Power BI dashboards to deliver actionable financial insights and ensure data security and governance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize Alteryx dataflows to ingest, cleanse, and transform large-scale financial datasets.
- Create and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that support strategic finance decision‑making.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and analytical solutions.
- Implement data security, access controls, and governance policies to protect sensitive financial information.
- Perform advanced data analysis using SQL and Python to identify trends, forecast performance, and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Document data models, workflows, and best practices to ensure knowledge transfer and reproducibility.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence within a finance environment.
- Proficiency with Alteryx Designer/Server and Power BI (including DAX and data modeling).
- Strong SQL querying skills and hands‑on experience with Python for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts such as P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and budgeting cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to implement data security, governance, and compliance standards.
