About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead triage and resolution of high‑severity identity security incidents, coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python and Node.js to accelerate investigation and remediation.
- Architect and optimize AWS‑based monitoring and alerting solutions for identity and access events.
- Analyze root causes, produce detailed post‑mortem reports, and recommend preventive controls.
- Mentor junior engineers on incident response best practices and security tooling.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security operations or incident response, with a focus on identity and access management.
- Proficiency in Python and Node.js for scripting and automation.
- Hands‑on experience deploying and managing AWS security services (GuardDuty, IAM, CloudTrail).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑moving environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
