About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for water‑focused environmental projects from concept through construction.
- Develop and review hydraulic and hydrologic models, design calculations, and water‑resource plans.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Prepare and review technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory submissions.
- Interface with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to communicate project status and technical findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Environmental, Civil, or Water Resources Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HEC‑2), AutoCAD, and GIS tools.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects and leading technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. environmental regulations and permitting processes for water projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high‑quality technical documentation.
