Senior engineer responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex enterprise networking issues across large‑scale Wi‑Fi deployments, leveraging deep knowledge of TCP/IP, Linux, and cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve fleet‑wide and customer‑impacting network incidents in enterprise Wi‑Fi environments.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert for routing, switching, and wireless protocols, providing guidance to global support teams.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools (primarily Python) to streamline diagnostics and remediation.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and cloud operations to drive root‑cause analysis and long‑term fixes.
- Document troubleshooting procedures, knowledge‑base articles, and best‑practice configurations for large‑scale deployments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise networking, including Wi‑Fi, TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Strong Linux system administration skills and proficiency in Python scripting for automation.
- Experience with cloud networking services, preferably AWS (VPC, Direct Connect, Route 53).
- Proven ability to analyze complex network logs, packet captures, and performance metrics to identify root causes.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of supporting distributed, multi‑site environments.
