Senior developer responsible for designing, building, and supporting high‑volume enterprise integration solutions using IBM ACE/IIB, MQ, EDI and Apigee, with a focus on API‑led connectivity and distributed systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable integration architectures using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE/IIB) and IBM MQ.
- Develop, configure, and maintain EDI workflows and message transformations for high‑volume data exchange.
- Create, secure, and manage APIs on the Apigee platform, enabling API‑led connectivity across services.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot integration issues and optimize performance in a distributed environment.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior integration engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with IBM ACE/IIB, IBM MQ, and EDI standards.
- Proven expertise in designing and managing APIs using Apigee or similar API gateways.
- Strong understanding of RESTful services, message routing, and data transformation patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git) for integration artifacts.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
