About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision for a growing software engineering team, ensuring alignment with business goals and product strategy.
- Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, code quality, and high‑velocity delivery.
- Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines on AWS, automating testing, deployment, and monitoring for scalable applications.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, operations, and infrastructure teams to deliver feature releases on time and within budget.
- Drive adoption of modern development practices, including Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and automated testing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record managing distributed teams and delivering complex cloud‑native solutions on AWS.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tooling, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience in the telecom or broadband sector is a plus.
