As a Senior Engineering Manager, Privacy & Data Security at vanta, you will lead engineering teams in developing and maintaining data security and privacy solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating scalable and secure systems that protect sensitive customer data. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of data security and privacy regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers to design, develop, and deploy data security and privacy solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Develop and maintain technical roadmaps, architecture, and standards for data security and privacy.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data security and privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Partner with security and compliance teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on data security and privacy.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
- Strong technical expertise in languages such as Python, Node.js, and AWS.
- Deep understanding of data security and privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
