About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary platform engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and high quality delivery.
- Architect and evolve scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
- Drive the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code practices to accelerate release cycles and reduce defects.
- Collaborate closely with product, data, and security teams to define technical roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and deliver value‑driven solutions.
- Champion Agile methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, retrospectives, and cross‑team coordination to maintain velocity and transparency.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with 4+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Deep expertise in AWS services, cloud architecture, and DevOps tooling.
- Proven track record of building and scaling high‑performance engineering teams.
- Strong communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and modern CI/CD pipelines.
