About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a cross‑functional platform engineering team of senior engineers.
- Define and execute the platform roadmap, focusing on cloud‑native microservices, scalability, and reliability.
- Architect and oversee implementation of cloud solutions (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product, security, and operations to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
- Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering leadership experience managing platform or infrastructure teams.
- Strong background in Java and Python development within microservice architectures.
- Hands‑on experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and people‑development skills.
