About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a cross‑functional engineering team responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery platform.
- Define architecture and roadmap for microservice‑based solutions that integrate order orchestration, routing, tracking and status updates.
- Drive adoption of cloud best practices on AWS, container orchestration with Kubernetes, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product, data, and operations stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of the platform through monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in Java and microservice architectures.
- Proven track record leading engineering teams in a fast‑paced, cloud‑native environment (AWS, Kubernetes).
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) and infrastructure‑as‑code.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, real‑time data processing, and API design.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and people‑development skills.
