Senior Engineering Manager, DevOps - NinjaOne

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a cross‑functional DevOps team responsible for build, release, and developer platform engineering.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code practices with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar, ensuring reproducible and secure environments.
• Architect and manage container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) and container runtimes (Docker) for scalable, high‑availability services.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product groups to enhance release quality, developer velocity, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands‑on DevOps engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a people‑management or senior technical lead role.
• Deep expertise in CI/CD tooling, IaC frameworks, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Proficiency with container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and modern scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Strong understanding of security best practices, monitoring, and incident response in production environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of driving process improvements and mentoring engineers.
