Engineering Manager
Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver mission‑critical data center projects, overseeing design, procurement, construction, and commissioning while ensuring compliance with industry standards and schedule targets.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and mentor cross‑functional engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil) throughout all phases of data center projects.
- Develop and enforce design standards, BIM models, and construction drawings to meet performance, reliability, and sustainability goals.
- Coordinate with procurement, construction, and client stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality control.
- Manage risk assessments, permitting processes, and regulatory compliance for mission‑critical facilities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lessons learned to optimize engineering workflows and reduce cycle time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field; 10+ years of experience in data center or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex construction programs on schedule and within budget.
- Expertise in BIM, AutoCAD/Revit, HVAC, power distribution, and cooling system design for high‑availability environments.
- Strong project management skills, including risk management, cost control, and stakeholder communication.
- Leadership ability to foster collaboration, mentor staff, and drive technical excellence.
