About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional engineering chapter, driving delivery of document archival, retrieval, and intelligent information services.
- Architect and evolve scalable, cloud‑native solutions on AWS, leveraging Kubernetes, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product, security, and data teams to define and implement best practices for data protection, compliance, and performance.
- Champion continuous improvement, ensuring high code quality, automated testing, and robust monitoring.
- Represent the chapter in technical steering committees, influencing architecture and technology strategy across the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in Java and Python.
- Proven leadership of large, distributed engineering teams in a regulated financial environment.
- Deep expertise in AWS services, Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and CI/CD tooling.
- Experience with data‑centric solutions, including data lakes, search, and analytics pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of driving technical excellence and innovation.
