Senior Engineering Liaison who bridges product development and manufacturing, ensuring technical requirements are met, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and driving project delivery using systems engineering, CAD tools, and strong project management skills.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical interface between engineering design, manufacturing, and program management teams.
- Translate customer and stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable engineering specifications and CAD models.
- Coordinate and lead cross‑functional reviews, ensuring alignment on design intent, schedule, and risk mitigation.
- Maintain and update requirements traceability matrices and configuration documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support project planning, status reporting, and issue resolution to keep programs on schedule and within budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline with 7+ years of experience in systems engineering or product development.
- Proven expertise with CAD tools such as CATIA or Creo and strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated project management abilities, including schedule control, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001) is preferred.
