About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive site investigations, including drilling, sampling, and in‑situ testing, to evaluate subsurface conditions for design and construction.
- Develop and maintain detailed geological and geotechnical reports, integrating GIS and remote sensing data to support project planning and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, environmental) to provide expert geological input on design, construction sequencing, and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, permitting processes, and safety standards throughout project lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor junior geologists, overseeing fieldwork, data quality, and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in engineering geology for large infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in GIS, remote sensing, and rock mechanics modeling.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Valid professional engineering or geological license preferred.
