Software Engineer
Senior Payload Engineer responsible for monitoring satellite health, resolving spacecraft anomalies, and maintaining earth station test equipment to ensure high availability of GEO and MEO fleets using both hardware and software tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor satellite health metrics and provide on‑call support to resolve spacecraft anomalies in real time.
- Maintain and calibrate earth station testing equipment, ensuring accurate hardware and software performance.
- Collaborate with operations teams to maximize availability and longevity of GEO and MEO satellite fleets.
- Document anomaly investigations, root causes, and corrective actions to improve future reliability.
- Ensure all support activities align with SLA terms and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in payload engineering and satellite operations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software components.
- Familiarity with GEO and MEO satellite systems and ground station infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a high‑availability, on‑call environment.
