About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in the planning, design, and execution of major infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with municipal standards and regulations.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates, providing regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Oversee asset management activities, including condition assessments, maintenance planning, and lifecycle cost analysis.
- Utilize GIS and AutoCAD to produce detailed design drawings, spatial analyses, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and community groups to resolve technical issues and secure project approvals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; professional engineering license preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in infrastructure project delivery, with a strong track record of managing complex projects.
- Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on sustainable and resilient infrastructure solutions.
