Lead the modernization of electric distribution systems, driving end‑to‑end project delivery from regulatory filings to performance verification, using Python, Node.js, AWS, Machine Learning and GIS to optimize grid operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle, from concept and regulatory filings to planning, implementation, and performance verification.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and analytics tools using Python and Node.js to support grid operation insights.
- Design and deploy scalable cloud solutions on AWS for real‑time monitoring and predictive maintenance.
- Apply machine learning techniques to forecast load, detect anomalies, and optimize asset performance.
- Integrate GIS data to model distribution networks and support decision‑making for grid upgrades.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely project delivery.
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience in electric grid operations or related field.
- Proficiency in Python, Node.js, and AWS cloud services.
- Strong background in machine learning, data analytics, and GIS.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Experience with regulatory filings and performance verification in utility environments.
