Software Engineer

About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure supporting federal employee health services.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid, reliable delivery of software updates.
- Design and enforce security controls, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond to incidents.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and prioritize infrastructure projects that improve uptime and performance.
- Automate routine operations tasks using configuration management and scripting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices.
- Strong background in security engineering, including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Excellent scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
