About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage distribution system planning projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Design and evaluate substation facilities, distribution lines, and underground network systems for reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate new technologies and optimize existing infrastructure.
- Represent the organization in meetings with state public utility commissions and other regulatory bodies.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory filings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in distribution system planning and design.
- Proven expertise in substation design, line planning, and underground network systems.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to represent technical solutions to regulatory agencies.
