Senior Engineer, Data Science & Analytics Hybrid - Aguadilla, PR - Collins Aerospace

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end machine learning models to extract actionable insights from large aerospace datasets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements, build data pipelines, and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Implement scalable analytics solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as S3, Redshift, and SageMaker.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, data‑driven recommendations for engineering and product stakeholders.
• Mentor junior data scientists and engineers, fostering best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics within a technical or engineering environment.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
• Hands‑on experience building and deploying machine learning models using Scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services for data storage, processing, and model deployment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex concepts to non‑technical audiences.
