Senior Engineer - Cloud and Compute Platform - Target
Software Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of scalable cloud and compute services, driving automation, reliability, and performance across the platform using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern DevOps practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement highly available, scalable compute services on AWS, ensuring performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters, including networking, storage, and monitoring solutions.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, enabling repeatable and auditable deployments.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools to accelerate release cycles.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define service level objectives, incident response processes, and post‑mortem analyses.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, with deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM).
- Proficient in Kubernetes administration, Helm, and container networking.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Go, and experience writing Terraform modules.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tooling and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset.
