Senior engineer responsible for defining and integrating hydromechanical aircraft system architectures, driving concept development, analysis, and validation using advanced modeling tools and CAD environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and development of hydromechanical system architectures for new and existing aircraft platforms.
- Perform system-level analysis, sizing, and trade studies using MATLAB/Simulink and other simulation tools.
- Create and maintain detailed 3D models and interface drawings in Catia or Creo, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (structures, propulsion, avionics) to integrate subsystems and resolve interface issues.
- Develop and review technical documentation, specifications, and verification plans for hydromechanical components.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering with extensive experience in aircraft systems architecture.
- Proven expertise in hydromechanical system design, fluid power, and aircraft integration.
- Strong proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink for modeling and analysis, and CAD tools such as Catia or Creo.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to lead technical discussions, and experience working in cross‑functional aerospace teams.
- Familiarity with aerospace standards (e.g., ARP, ASME) and configuration management processes.
