About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for embedded firmware and system‑level validation.
- Design test plans and procedures for pre‑silicon (simulation) and post‑silicon (hardware) verification of coherent optical communication modules.
- Collaborate with firmware, DSP, hardware, and system engineers to debug issues, analyze performance metrics, and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Implement and run hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) tests using FPGA platforms, oscilloscopes, and JTAG interfaces.
- Document test results, generate reports, and contribute to continuous improvement of test methodologies.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in embedded or system testing, preferably with high‑speed or optical communication hardware.
- Proficiency in Embedded C and Python for test script development and automation.
- Hands‑on experience with FPGA development boards, Linux‑based test environments, and signal‑processing concepts.
- Strong debugging skills using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally, communicate findings clearly, and take ownership of test frameworks.
