Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer responsible for designing high‑performance PCBs, developing FPGA firmware, and delivering robust embedded solutions using C/C++ and Altium Designer.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex multi‑layer PCBs for embedded systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Create and validate FPGA logic and firmware, integrating with microcontroller platforms.
- Develop low‑level embedded software in C/C++ for hardware bring‑up, driver development, and performance optimization.
- Perform signal integrity analysis, power integrity studies, and EMC testing to guarantee product reliability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—mechanical, firmware, and system engineers—to define specifications and resolve integration issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in PCB design using Altium Designer or equivalent tools.
- Proficiency in C/C++ development for embedded platforms and experience with FPGA development (VHDL/Verilog).
- Strong knowledge of signal integrity, power distribution, and EMC best practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced engineering environment.
