Embedded Systems Engineer
Senior engineer designing, developing and maintaining safety‑critical embedded software for high‑density warehouse automation, using C/C++, RTOS, and functional safety standards such as ISO 26262.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement safety‑critical embedded software for robotic warehouse systems, adhering to functional safety standards.
- Develop, test, and maintain real‑time applications on RTOS and Embedded Linux platforms.
- Perform hazard analysis, safety case development, and verification/validation activities in line with ISO 26262.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and systems teams to integrate safety features and resolve cross‑disciplinary issues.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to junior engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded C/C++ development for safety‑critical systems.
- Strong knowledge of real‑time operating systems and low‑level hardware interfaces.
- Hands‑on experience with functional safety processes and ISO 26262 compliance.
- Proficiency in Linux‑based development environments and scripting (e.g., Python).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional team.
