Security Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of secure embedded firmware for next‑generation mission systems, ensuring robust protection against hardware and software threats using C/C++, RTOS, and secure boot techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop secure embedded firmware for mission‑critical hardware platforms.
- Implement secure boot, cryptographic key management, and hardware isolation techniques.
- Conduct threat modeling, code reviews, and security testing (static/dynamic analysis).
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate security features into ASIC/FPGA designs.
- Maintain and update security documentation, policies, and compliance artifacts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of embedded software development in C/C++ on RTOS platforms.
- Deep knowledge of embedded security concepts: secure boot, hardware root of trust, side‑channel mitigation.
- Experience with cryptographic libraries (OpenSSL, mbedTLS) and secure key storage.
- Strong analytical skills for threat modeling and vulnerability assessment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast‑paced, cross‑disciplinary environment.
