Lead the design and development of high‑reliability electronics for aviation and industrial condition monitoring, driving innovation in PCB layout, signal integrity, and embedded firmware using Altium and advanced test equipment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end design of aircraft‑grade and industrial monitoring hardware, from concept through to production.
- Create and validate high‑density PCB layouts, ensuring signal integrity, EMI/EMC compliance, and manufacturability.
- Develop and maintain embedded firmware for data acquisition and control, integrating with sensor interfaces and communication protocols.
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, and systems teams to meet stringent aviation and industrial standards.
- Conduct rigorous test and validation, including functional, environmental, and reliability testing, and troubleshoot complex hardware issues.
- Document design decisions, specifications, and test procedures for regulatory and quality audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in high‑reliability electronics design for aviation or industrial monitoring.
- Proficiency with Altium Designer, signal‑integrity tools, and test equipment such as oscilloscopes and network analyzers.
- Strong knowledge of embedded firmware development (C/C++), sensor interfaces, and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SPI).
- Experience with regulatory compliance (RTCA DO‑178C, IEC 61508) and quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100).
