About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering of high‑voltage transmission and distribution networks, including substations and battery storage integration.
- Develop and validate protection and control schemes, utilizing intelligent electronic devices (IEDs) and SCADA/PLC systems to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Perform power system studies (short‑circuit, load flow, stability) and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize asset performance.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and compliance submissions for regulatory approvals and client deliverables.
- Mentor junior engineers, review designs, and provide technical guidance on emerging power technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in transmission, distribution, and battery storage projects.
- Proficiency in power system analysis tools (PSS®E, ETAP, PowerFactory) and protection coordination software.
- Strong knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards, high‑voltage equipment, and IED programming.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment.
