We are seeking a Senior Electrical Failure Analysis Engineer to join our team in Longmont, CO. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing electrical systems for our storage systems, identifying and resolving failure points. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to complex electrical engineering problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze electrical systems for storage systems, including power supplies, voltage regulators, and other critical components.
- Identify and resolve failure points in electrical systems, using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment.
- Develop and implement solutions to complex electrical engineering problems, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure that electrical systems meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and failure analysis reports.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on failure analysis and design.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, power systems, and electromagnetics.
- Experience with design and analysis tools, such as SPICE, MATLAB, and ANSYS.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
