About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate electrical schematics and control logic for large‑scale waste‑processing equipment.
- Lead PLC programming and HMI configuration to ensure reliable plant operation and data acquisition.
- Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and software teams to integrate electrical systems into plant layouts using CAD and simulation tools.
- Perform power system analysis, load calculations, and fault studies to optimize energy usage and compliance with safety standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including P&IDs, BOMs, and test procedures, and support commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in industrial electrical design, control systems, and PLC programming.
- Proficiency with Siemens/Allen‑Bradley PLCs, HMI design, and SCADA integration.
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, motor control, and instrumentation for process plants.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication for cross‑functional collaboration.
