About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end electrical design for multi‑storey commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain BIM models, Revit families, and AutoCAD drawings, collaborating closely with architectural, structural, and MEP teams.
- Integrate building automation and control systems (BAS/PLC) with electrical infrastructure, optimizing energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, schedules, and technical specifications, supporting procurement and construction phases.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary design reviews, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in building electrical design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination tools; experience with BAS/PLC programming.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of local building codes, sustainability standards, and energy‑management practices.
